Effective 1 September 2026

Three Pins is a golf game you play in your browser. This page says, in plain words, what we store about you, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. Questions and requests go to privacy@threepins.golf.

Your account

The first time you open the game, we create an anonymous account for your device — a random ID, no email, no name. That ID is what makes the Daily one attempt per player and lets your scores appear on the boards.

You can choose to attach an email address (we send a one-time code; there is no password) or sign in with Google. Then we also hold that email, and for Google, the name and email Google shares with us. That is all we ask Google for.

What we store against your account

What stays on your device

Your session, career stats, Locker choices, settings and today's Daily progress are also kept in your browser's local storage so the game works offline and loads fast. We set no cookies, run no advertising, and use no third-party analytics or tracking scripts.

Who else sees data

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

Why we use it

To run the game: leaderboards, the Daily, party rooms, verifying that scores are genuine, giving you the cosmetics you have earned, and finding and fixing crashes. Nothing else.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Scores and records are part of the boards other players see, so they stay until you ask us to remove your account.

Your choices

Children

Three Pins is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has attached an email to an account, write to us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top. The current version is always at threepins.golf/privacy.html.
